Meet Abilene, a 9-year-old bay and white tobiano Gypsy Drum mare standing 15.3 1/2 hands tall with a facial blaze and striking paint markings. Abilene is a head-turner who combines majestic draft cross sturdiness with an exceptionally gentle, lovable nature.
Smooth & Steady Under Saddle: Operates with comfortable, smooth gaits under both English and Western tack. Equipped with excellent brakes, pops over fences on hunter paces or cross-country courses, and is everyone’s first choice for taking turns chasing calves.
Bombproof Trail & Adventure Mount: Safe around freight trains, tractor-trailers, motorcycles, bikes, and ATVs. Crosses water, climbs steep banks, navigates bridges, and remains unbothered by wildlife or barking dogs. Rides equally well bareback in a halter, alone, or carrying kids double.
Show-Stopping Barn Manners: An absolute star on the ground—stands patiently for hours to be groomed, braided, scratched, and pampered. Impeccable manners make her a favorite for riders and non-riders alike.
Consistent & Easy Keeper: Easy keeper who requires no maintenance and is happy living in a stall or pasture. Comes out with the same safe, reliable attitude whether ridden every day or after weeks off.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an Equine Pre Sale Physical Examination Form from Five Points Veterinary Care LLC (Dr. Adria Anderson, DVM) dated April 11, 2026, confirming normal vitals (temp 99.1°F, pulse 32, resp 16), clear eyes/ears/mouth, clean physical systems, negative flexion tests, and zero indications of lameness, alongside an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn April 11, 2026.
