King is a sorrel gelding, 10yr old, 13.3h. We have had him for 2 years, started out unhandled and his previous owner didn't have time to work with him. He has came along quickly and learns incredibly fast. He has mastered all his ground work and stands quietly for the kids chaos. No spook, he takes everything in his stride. 1st to a feed bucket, and generally comes running when he sees us just for attention. Easy to catch anywhere, curious and eager to please type attitude. He has been started nicely under saddle and would make a nice trail partner currently. However I can see him excelling as a step up youth rodeo horse. Could see him excelling at poles or breakaway, possibly barrels even this he's shorter. He is athletic and ready to go, fast and confident step out, rides alone or in a group no fuss. He is not going to be for beginners 3yr old child or lead line. He is very quick on the turns, and needs someone intermediate at least to confidently ride him. He neck reins, backs up and is working on roll backs and sliding stops and picking up the training nicely. I have had various riders on him that love how he handles, he just needs his person.
