Meet Moana, a solid, finished 5-year-old grade sorrel tobiano Paint mare standing 15.0 hands high with a bold bald face, tobiano markings, and striking hazel eyes. One-hand broke with excellent buttons, Moana offers the perfect blend of maturity, responsiveness, and safety that every rider searches for.
Kid-Tested & Safe Demeanor: Incredibly responsive and gentle under saddle—a 3-year-old child on the ranch was able to steer her completely by himself! Always takes care of her rider, making her an ideal mount for a 4-H kid, beginner lessons, or playdays.
Versatile Arena & Jumping Talent: Excellent handle under saddle—moves off leg cues, sidepasses, rides both English and Western, and jumps up to 2 feet. Has a nice motor and moves out when asked without ever being unmanageable.
Mountain & Trail Veteran: Ridden all over the Rocky Mountains, handling varied terrain with total confidence and ease.
Health & Maintenance: Up to date on vaccines, worming, farrier care, teeth floating, and sand clear. Easy keeper on no current maintenance. Front shoes present.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by a General Health Exam from Northern Colorado Equine (Dr. Stacey Tarr, DVM) dated August 17, 2026, certifying normal vitals (BCS 6/9, heart rate 38, CRT < 2s), clear movement, and noting a small opacity in the central lens of the left eye with a normal menace response, along with remarks that she was very good to work with, alongside an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn August 1, 2026.
