I do not know where to start with our Elsa girl. This mare has been an extremely special part of our family, and our kids have learned so much with her. We are heartbroken to sell her, but sometimes life gets in the way. She has had one owner before us. We bought her from the breeder, and she has been in our program for about a year. She wears our personal brand; we only put it on horses that are special to us and represent our name well. Elsa is a family-friendly all-around type. She is one of my absolute favorites I have ever swung a leg over. She is more whoa than go and very easy to control. Elsa has a good stop, is solid at all gaits, knows her leads and sidepasses, moves her shoulder and hip independently, and is soft in the bridle. She also rides bridleless at all 3 gaits and will go where she is pointed, even outside an arena. She is extremely friendly and loves people. Easy to catch in a big field. Will come and meet you at the gate every single time. She loves belly rubs and will engage with people every second she gets the chance. She has been all over the country traveling and trail riding with us. She has been to multiple national parks(Yosemite National Park, Rocky Mountain national park, Sequoia/ Kings Canyon NP, etc), the Fort Worth stockyards, through many different town squares, to many different show venues etc. She travels well, stalls well, gets along with other horses in the pasture, and eats and drinks on the road. Elsa is amazing on the trail and has seen more than most horses twice her age. She is desensitized, slow to react, and has never spooked, even when unsure. She has been through and is used to water crossings, bridges, tunnels, bikes, strollers, umbrellas, flappy items, elk, deer, bear(saw one once), turkeys/ birds, barking dogs, a 3yo toddler running around being loud and unpredictable, traffic, loud machinery, air brakes, and so much more. She is also used to gunfire being shot next to her and fireworks. Complete beginner kids have ridden her in our lesson program; our older son, a complete beginner, has ridden her on countless trails across the country; and our 3yo son is one of her favorites and her most frequent rider. She is good with time off. She rides off safe and sane even if she isn’t worked every day. She rides English and Western. We haven’t jumped her yet because of her age, but she has trotted over ground poles and been introduced to cavalettis. Elsa also has a couple of tricks up her sleeve; she sits and smiles on command. She will do anything for any kind of food. 😆 Elsa is an extremely easy keeper. Stays chunky on just hay. Never been injured, never coliced, and requires no maintenance. She also loads well, stands tied quietly, and has no vices. She is not mareish at all. She is UTD on all teeth floating, vaccines, wormer, etc. Along with her soundness exam, she also has a set of clean pre-sale X-rays on file. Please call us to schedule a showing to meet her, or to ask questions. We can he
