If you are looking for an absolute superstar family pony with royal gaited bloodlines, show-stopping dappled golden beauty, and the sweetest, most loving personality on earth, Pumpkin is a true once-in-a-lifetime dream mare! Standing a stout, handy 13.2 hands tall, this 7-year-old registered and DNA-verified Missouri Fox Trotting Pony mare is a direct daughter of Southern Sunrises Hotshot and granddaughter of Hall of Famer Southern Sunrise, born and raised right on master breeder Larry Stevens' farm!
Royal Pedigree & Perfect Stature: Sired by premier trail producer Southern Sunrises Hotshot. Her easy-mounting 13.2hh height makes her effortless to mount from the ground without hunting for rocks or blocks, yet she is stout enough to carry adult riders for miles!
Sweet, In-Your-Pocket Temperament: Beyond friendly and personable—loves eating watermelon with the family, dressing up as a pumpkin for Halloween trick-or-treating around town, and participating in 4th of July parades!
Bombproof Trail & Camping Veteran: Experienced across overnight camping trips and major Missouri trail systems, including Eminence Cross Country Trail rides, Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, Compton Hollow, and Brushy Creek. Easily navigates obstacles, crosses anything, and takes care of riders from young kids to double riders.
Family & Youth Approved: A wonderful, patient momma with a golden mind who builds confidence in every rider she carries.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by official MFTPR Registration (#PR19-230) and UK DNA parentage verification, up to date on power floating (9/16/25), and backed by an Animal Medical Center exam (Dr. Colleen McKay, DVM) dated June 16, 2026, certifying normal vitals (BCS 5/9, temp 99.7°F, clear heart/lungs/gut), zero neurological deficits, and 100% sound movement in hand and under saddle, paired with an official negative EIA Coggins test drawn August 27, 2026
