If you’re looking for a big, beautiful, SAFE gelding with a personality to match, Judge is your guy!

Judge is a 5 year old, 16hh Percheron/Quarter Horse cross gelding who is about as wide as he is tall. He is an incredibly solid, kindhearted young horse with a fantastic brain. I would consider him beginner safe. He is exceptionally quiet, sensible, and takes just about everything in stride.

Under saddle: Judge is bombproof on the trails and genuinely 110% traffic safe. Cars, trucks, and busy roads don’t faze him. He is not a lazy horse and moves out nicely, but prefers to walk/trot. He is great at the walk/trot in the arena, but his arena canter is still a work in progress. He will canter out on the trails more easily! This is truly the only area I feel he needs improvement in.

Driving: Judge drives AMAZINGLY! He has even been driven alongside the highway and handles traffic like an absolute professional. I could easily see him excelling as a carriage horse.

On the ground: Judge is just as wonderful to be around as he is to ride. He is extremely friendly, gentle, and absolutely loves people. He runs to meet you at the gate and is always happy to see you. He currently lives with a miniature horse and a donkey and is incredibly kind and gentle with both. He loads great, ties great, picks up all 4 of his feet, is an easy keeper, and is an all around pleasure to have in the barn.

Judge is a BIG, substantial gelding who can comfortably accommodate larger riders.

I could see Judge being absolutely phenomenal as a guided trail horse, carriage horse, husband horse, or someone’s trusted partner for miles and miles of trails and road riding. He has the kind of temperament that is hard to find, especially in a horse this young.

He is truly a special gelding, and I have very little negative to say about him. He is safe, willing, personable, and has a wonderful foundation with so much potential ahead of him.

Serious inquiries welcome. Happy to share additional pictures and videos.

ONLY reason for sale is that I had a knee replacement and am needing a shorter horse, may trade for a fjord, haflinger, draft cross, or similar that has the exact same temperament and is 14hh-15.2hh.
