Meet Jango ❤️

I got Jango from a kill pen in Colorado a couple of months ago and have been giving him a chance at a new beginning.

His age is unknown, but my vet estimates he is in his teens. His teeth don’t appear overly worn, and he still has plenty of life left in him!

Jango is a really good horse with a lot of potential. I want to be completely upfront about his history and maintenance. He came to me with arthritis and an old hock injury. He is currently on Equioxx for maintenance and has received three rounds of Legend injections to help manage his arthritis. He has responded very well to treatment and has been cleared by my vet for riding.

I’m looking for someone who wants a good companion for light riding, relaxed trail rides, and continuing to build a relationship with him. He will need some additional miles and refreshers, as I’m unsure how long he was out of regular riding. He also needs some work and confidence-building on the trails.

I’m not looking for someone to push him beyond his abilities. I want to find him a home where his needs will be understood, his maintenance will be continued, and he can enjoy a comfortable life doing what he’s capable of.

Jango is amazing with dogs super tolerant, he picks his feet up great with just a click,

I’m happy to answer questions and be completely transparent about his history. Finding the right home for Jango is my priority. ❤️
