Someone is missing out on this mare
-14yrs old
- Mustang Mare (Pine Nut, NV)
In a nutshell she is all 13.2 hands of independence and sass.... As seen in the pics
-NOT broke to ride but has been sat on 3 times!!
- loads/unloads on a stock or slant trailer/ Hauls good
- Stands for the farrier once she trusts who it is.
- Lunges, ground drives, saddles, fly sprays, & bathing depends on her mood but has gotten better
-Knows her ground work well, but will test someone new
* She can be hard to catch but we just put her in the shelter, and catch her.
**Her biggest problem is trusting new people and she needs someone that understands that.
She is top of the pecking order, so if you need a baby sitter for youngsters that need a reality check, she's your gal! Or if you have one that knows how to stand their ground she does ok with too (that's how she has it now)
She was diagnosed with laminitis 3 years ago, and has MINIMAL rotation. I HAVE X-rays. Easily managed with a mostly forage diet.
Requires someone experienced with mustangs.
