Champ is a beautiful 13 year old sorrel Tennessee walker standing 14’1 hands tall. The perfect height. He has been there and done that way before I purchased him 4 years ago. I have added many more trail miles to this guy and he is an absolute dream to ride. A very comfortable nicely gaited gelding that will gait out on his own. It’s as natural to him as it comes. He is a in your pocket very friendly guy who you can catch anywhere at any time. He will stand for you to put his halter on even when walking up to him with it in your hand. Champ gets along with all horses in the herd. He’s an all around great horse for most anyone who has been on a horse.
He was ridden by a young boy all of his life until I purchased him in 2022. I was his second owner so he has not been passed around. He was previously ponied off of, doubled up on and in parades. My husband and I have only trail ridden him for the past 4 years and he’s been a is a great trail horse.
Champ will load and back off the trailer with ease, fly spray is no problem for him, stands to mount and dismount, good with the farrier and vet and loves his bath. The only reason this guy is for sale is because my husband has pretty much quit ridding and have 2 other horses. He is too good of a horse to not get ridden. He deserves more. He can be left in the pasture all winter and will be the same horse when you get on him in the spring. That’s a big plus for me since I do not ride in the cold winter months.
