The top half consists of cooling fabric, which cools the back from the withers to the buttock. This wraps around the front chest bringing cooling relief to the chest too. Blanket has adjustable straps to ensure a snug fit and two D rings for added security. Prior to the introduction of our blanket, the only way to cool a horse down was to hose it down and/or walk it. The hosing is only momentary, and the water evaporates rapidly.
