PHOTOS AND VIDEOS: https://photos.app.goo.gl/RorgQGq4sGdBHuy97 Stephen the Crook, barn name "Q," is the exact type of project everyone wants. He is 15.2 and growing with a nice sporty build. His brain is unmatched. He is kind, quiet, and always tries his best even in novel situations. Q has been ridden by professionals and beginners alike; he is currently primarily ridden by a working student. This horse always aims to please and loves a head pat as a reward for a hard day's work. This horse has also given mini-lessons to a complete novice (my brother) and did his job to perfection, taking care of his rider and listening to the aids given, even if they were not 100% clear. He has been under english and dressage tack and has been ridden bareback. Loads, ties, bathes, and stands well for vet and farrier. Good with dogs, chickens, other horses. Rides out alone and in company. Q has worked on desensitization, including walking over tarps, being thwacked with pool noodles, and getting tormented by scary vacuum tubes. He is an absolutely champ and works through each question thoughtfully. This is the type of horse who gets confidence from his handler; if you laugh, he laughs! Q has gone to two dressage clinics with Eugene Abello. The first clinic was his first time being trailered off farm with us, first time in an indoor, and first time under dressage tack. The clinician and those watching were very impressed by this 4 year old, noting that he has potential for Training-level movement. Not a foot out of place and he showed just how smart he is. A wonderful second clinic was done at the end of January where a working student rode him. Q has also been to a clinic and Hablyn Hills for grid work, beginning foundations for eventing. He has competed at hunter schooling shows this winter, placing in ribbons even though this is his first season out. Q is proudly offered for sale to a great home that can bring him along to help him reach his potential. PPEs always welcome to ensure that he is the right fit for you.
