~Savanah PGA~ Coming 4yo AHA purebred Arabian mare by Moon of Jullyen V and out of an Aitillery mare (Atlanta PGA). Other lines include Huckleberry Bey++, Marigold V, and Bey Shah+. Savanah was bred with planning and thought here in Oregon, and then turned out into the back 40 with other young horses to grow up, until I purchased her last summer at the age of 3 as a project. Since then, she has learned to trailer calmly (even when a trailer tire blows and we have to change it with her inside!), stand for the farrier, body and face clip, bathe, and lunge with vocal cues. She’s been desensitized around farm equipment, cars, tarps, flags, ect. Savanah is green broke under saddle, with a nice walk, trot, and back, and a lope that is coming along. She knows her leads, but likes to throw in occasional head tosses and grumpy ears. Savanah has a great woah and will tuck her butt under in her stop and will go over poles. I would say she has more go than woah, but she will woah. Savanah is a total in your pocket sweetheart. She gets along with other horses and is not at all marish. In November of 2022, Savanah went to the OHC Extreme Mountain Trail Course and did nearly every obstacle, even the water! Here, she displayed that she has a great brain between those ears, remaining calm at a strange new place and not acting rash when presented with a new obstacle. She would simply stop, look at it and sniff, and when asked to go forward, take a step or two until she was through the question. Savanah is utd on feet and deworming. She will be due for spring vacc and possibly a teeth float. Currently barefoot and sound and has been as long as I’ve had her. About 14.2h with growing to do. Located in Albany, OR. Video available. Mid four figures.
