Blaze is a five year old bay quarter horse gelding. He is started on working cattle, and also works in the arena w/t/c, preforms flying lead changes and has a nice stop (would slide if he had sliders on). He is spur broke, moves off of your legs or neck reins. He also goes out on the trails alone or in a group with no problems. He has gone over a teeter totter, bridge, tire, poles, tarp, and variety of other things. He has no problem approching new things and I have yet to find something he is truley afraid of. He was recently taken to his first show and placed in showmanship, pleasure, and ranch riding. He stands for farrier, bathing, and clipping, and will unload and load himself into the trailer. Blaze would be best suited for a home where he is ridden daily and has a job, such as on a cattle ranch or as a mountain trail horse. He is steady and is used to deer, turkey, and other wildlife jumping out. I would suggest an intermediate rider for Blaze, only because he enjoys working and does have the energy of a five year old horse. However, I do believe he would be safe for leadline classes for a young 4-H member. Link to video: https://youtu.be/AcbhEK5zPnM
