Theo is a sweet and personable 5 yo TB that last raced in March 2022. Visually, he's just stunning, with three gaits that point to the dressage arena. Very balanced, and a canter that is so smooth! He's naturally up hill and short backed, carries himself with ease, and works from behind very correctly. Lots of energy but more whoa than go. He tries super hard, and really attaches to his person. I purchased him as an eventing prospect, but jumping is NOT his thing. Just the idea of jumping seems to stress him out, so we've pivoted to flat work. My trainer is happy to explain exactly what that resistance looks like. No vices, good with his feet (I took him barefoot a few months ago, he's doing great), no buck/bolt/rear, up to date on everything. He does have a small issue with his ears, my guess is that he was probably ear twitched on the track and he's gotten much better with time and patience. I did an extensive vet check with ALL the xrays which I will gladly pass on (he passed with flying colors). Also did a preventative 30 day ulcer treatment from Abler on him, since so many come off the track with that issue. I really love this guy, but I know that there's someone out there that will be able to help him shine doing the kind of work he truly enjoys. He's in full training until he sells.
