Chevy is a 7-year-old, unraced thoroughbred. I originally bought him as a coming 4-year-old as a project. Unfortunately, he has been put on the back burner for the past year due to lack of time, and I am searching for a good home where he will get all the love and attention he deserves. Chevy is an in your pocket type personality, that is one of the first to greet you at the gate. On the ground he can be a little pushy but is easily settled with a quick correction. He has been ridden mostly dressage, and stadium jumping, but has popped over a few cross-country fences. Chevy is super brave to fences, but is still green so he can be strong. I have trail ridden him extensively, and he does great on his own, but prefers to follow if in a group. I have trailered him off property as well, and he is the same horse on/off property. He does best in a consistent program where he is being ridden 4-5 times a week. He is great for the vet, and is UTD on all vaccines, coggins, dental, and deworming. He is easy to trailer, just prefers to look in the trailer before he loads, but has never given me any issues. His one quirk is that he has a history of being difficult with the farrier. Less so when he is in full work. I currently have him in front shoes. PPE's welcome and encouraged, and please message me with any questions you have!
