Rocky is a sweet boy looking to find his person. He has a ton of personality and is honestly the funniest horse I've owned. He loves love and craves human connection.

I've used him in a small lesson program for the past year and a half. He is kind to kids and adults and has shown a lot of beginners the ropes. I'm selling because I am downsizing my program and taking a step back.

Rocky came to me previously having had a harsh bit and heavy hand, so he is an expert at escaping bit pressure. I ride him in a D-Ring snaffle & martingale or a bosal, and he rides fabulously. He can be a bit fast outside of a roundpen, so he would be best suited with an intermediate rider or beginner with an experienced trainer


His previous owner used him in gymkhana and trail, but I've used him for lower level riding lessons and have popped him over some crossrails.

Rocky has the classic "appy-tude". Some negative traits include stopping at the gate and sometimes head tossing. He can be a bit buddy sour, but it's manageable. Price drop is reflective of this.

He is also built tough. He's barefoot and I've never had him go lame. He's an extremely easy keeper, and he would prefer to live in pasture. Up to date of vaccines and trims. Last float was December 2022.
