Sherlock is a 4-year-old, grade draft/warmblood cross, standing 17.1h tall. Sherlock is one of the first horses to the gate and loves people. He will ride English or Western and is great out on the trails. He will lead or follow, or ride out alone. He will climb banks, go through water, and ride around deer, and with strange horses without batting an eye. He had the winter off to grow and is just coming back to work now as a 4-year-old after a huge growth spurt! He has a lovely long and low natural self-carriage that I feel would allow him to thrive in a hunter or dressage home. He has been introduced to dressage and is learning to move off your leg, and finding consistency in his gaits. He has been introduced to trot poles, and a tiny bit of jumping and is showing a lot of potential. He is traffic-safe, easy to load and unload, and catch, great for the vet and farrier. This horse would be suitable for a confident AA or teenager to finish with their trainer. If you want a giant lovebug to finish in your discipline of choice, Sherlock might be your man.
