Tudor's Forest "Malibu" is a 3 year old filly standing at 16.1h. She retired from the track sound after only 4 races. She has a 90 day restart at Willow Creek Ranch in McCloud, CA. I have worked hard to get her gentle under saddle and on the ground, as well as understanding smooth transitions in both directions. Malibu currently lives in the mountains where she has been ridden and ponied on mountain trails, ground-driven, w/t/c in arena, exposed to obstacles, lived in pasture, and lived amongst other horses. She can walk and trot on a loose rein or on contact. Her lope is safe, but not consistent. She can be race-y in the transition but has not offered to be ugly under saddle. I feel Malibu is at the perfect point in her training where she is green enough to finish her out your way, but gentle enough to be safe and trustworthy (as safe as a 3 year old, anyway). Current on everything- shots, feet, wormer, etc.
