Clyde is a solid paint gelding standing at 17.1hh. He had a sedentary start to life so the world is all very new to him. That being said he is doing very well in full training dressage program where he is ridden 5 days a week in lessons and on trail. He loves his job and is very smart but he is not for beginners. He loves to be groomed and loved on and is generally just a sweet loving guy. If I could keep him forever I would but I’m currently in my masters program and running out of time and money. It breaks my heart but I want to do what’s best for my horse and find him someone that can give him the dedication he deserves. I’m looking for a very special individual for this very special guy. As previously stated he is not a beginner horse but he is not a bad guy I always feel safe on him and will even guide trail rides with him. Also given his sedentary start to life, his lacked of movement caused shortening in his tendons in his front right leg. He is being given previcox to alleviate any discomfort but he moves just fine under saddle and is responding well to corrective shoeing. He is UTD of everything and stands for vet (reluctantly but still does it), farrier, bathing, grooming, etc. He even gets vacuumed! I hoping to find someone who will look past his quirks and give this guy the love he deserves. A good home is a priority so I am highly negotiable and will work out payment plans if necessary. He is available for sale or lease. Sale is preferred but I at least need him off my bill for the duration of my graduate program. Thank you for considering Clyde :)
