"Soulman" is the sweetest big, silly, warmblood boy. He is incredibly personable and fun to play with. He is very well versed in natural horsemanship and liberty play and spent a year at the Parelli's renowned horsemanship ranch in Colorado. He is serviceably sound, has some light trail riding experience, and competed up to Level 3 Dressage tests in his younger years. He also was a hunter-jumper prior to his Dressage career. Since 2020, Soulman has been chilling as beautiful "lawn ornament" ; going on occasional trail rides and causal arena rides and plenty of natural horsemanship play. He is currently barefoot, and his feet are in great shape. Some days, he does have tight hindlegs - something that has followed him his entire career as a dressage horse and was given frequent hock injections when competing heavily. As a competitive athlete, Soulman struggled with a chronic lack of sleep plus incredible stress - causing him to go off his feed (possible ulcer - never formally diagnosed) and even having rare episodes of narcolepsy. Since his lifestyle has become relaxed and carefree, none of these symptoms have reemerged. That being said, I am looking for the perfect next home for Soulman; one with the resources and time to play with and love on this big love of a boy. Soulman has had regular vet care and floats. He is playful, silly, athletic and a gorgeous mover - an animated horse with a big personality. He will need an extra large/tall/warmblood horse trailer to load into. Intermediate rider with a trainer recommended or experienced warmblood owner/rider. My dream home is somewhere his experience with liberty and natural horsemanship will be appreciated and he will live a low stress and fun lifestyle. He is being offered for rehoming due to lack of time (young children and full time work). Please note, I am in no hurry, and will only place him in the right fit for both Soul and human. He truly is a "Soulman" and the horse of a lifetime. Thanks for reading! Please reach out for photos and further questions.
