Video: https://youtu.be/FvH0m--6Cvw?si=JF44ZwwWHMf-Q8GU Gent is a 16h, 3-year-old, Morgan/Percheron cross gelding. This is your slow and steady, puppy dog-type personality gelding. He has taken beginners on trail rides, and been ridden by children with supervision. Gent will ride English or Western, bareback, and he drives! He is very comfortable at all three gaits, and wide enough to fill out a taller rider’s leg. You could put your husband on this one! (I put my sister’s boyfriend on him for a trail ride and he was a saint). He has been hauled to the Cherokee National Forest and climbed up and down stairs, crossed creeks, and fallen trees, led and followed, and didn't miss a beat. He is careful about where he puts his feet and is nice and surefooted. He loves attention and to be groomed. He lives at pasture full time in a mixed herd and is an easykeeper. He is very tolerant of dogs, in his pasture or going out on the trail with him and randomly jumping out of bushes and chasing deer, which makes me think he might have the potential to be a fox hunter if his next owner enjoys that. He has been very lightly introduced to jumping this spring and is brave and quiet to the jump, and doesn’t rush when he lands. Gent would be the perfect horse for a adult amature rider, to finish and enjoy for years to come with their family.
