Amazing Grace is a stunning 10yr old, 15.3h homozygous black/white tobiano mare that is registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse & Sporthorse International.
Her sire is Hertog Jan V.D. Paddensteeg "Jan", an imported baroque KFPS friesian stallion, who currently resides at the Benestar Ranch in Clover, S.C. He was rated first premium in the Netherlands prior to being imported. Jan claimed the coveted IFSHA Horse of the Year All Around Friesian in 2023 at Tryon, as well as many other grand and reserve championships at other venues. Amy Grace has been raised in loving hands by her current owner since she was a weanling. Her foundational upbringing was based on Natural Horsemanship with focus on the Parelli Methods. Her first years were spent playing and in consistent ground work at home, as well as attending a variety of horsemanship clinics held by professionals. She offered up an easy start at home under saddle and spent the next years in the arena W/T/C and going on trail rides.
Amy Grace is an easy keeper, living on full turnout in a mixed herd, and is barefoot. She loads, stands for farrier, ties, and has no vices other than some hesitation with vets drawing blood. She has clean legs and excellent feet. Zero maintenance.
Amy Grace is lightly started over fences and schooling training level Dressage. She has been very confident while schooling xc and show jumping both at home and offsite. Amy Grace is jumping small courses in the arena and schooling flying changes. She loves rides that keep her focused with a task at hand.
Amy Grace is best suited for eventing, show jumping, dressage , working equitation, and hunter paces. She is a more forward ride and requires a confident, attentive rider.
