This guy came off the range in Wyoming in 2022 and spent two years with a family who adored him, took him on trail rides as a pack horse, and climbed all over him. He has had no formal training, but his history has given him a fantastic base! Since he has been in my barn, I have found that he is very people oriented, but still needs time, training, and exposure to really make him shine. He is easy to catch, ties, has worn tack, and I have sat on him bareback. He is currently working on moving away from pressure and steering. He is brave out and about, and crosses water, ditches, and other strange terrain without batting an eyelash. Being a young mustang, he still requires patience in certain areas. He recently learned to eat his hay inside a run in shed, and is sometimes wary about entering the barn. He does not have huge reactions, and often borrows confidence from a calm and confident handler. This guy is going to be a super cool horse for someone who understands mustangs and wants to put some quality time in with him!
