RSJ A Zipin Legend collects on the mount readily, has excellent shipped semen and also freezes well. Can't say enough good things about this kind boy. He is great with the vet and farrier, easy to handle, no stable vices, healthy and sane, pretty bombproof and always willing to please. Roy had six months of professional training under saddle when he was two years old and last ridden as a three year old, (he rode perfect with not being ridden in over six months)....with a refresher could probably go back under saddle if desired. Roy walks right into the trailer without hesitation every time and hauls wonderfully when we ship him back and forth to the breeding farm every year. If you want to start a Champagne breeding program or compliment a current program, this is the boy for you!
After forty years in the horse breeding business it is time for us to retire. Roy is our only horse left and will hopefully go to someone who has a nice broodmare band and would continue shipping cooled semen. His semen does freeze well but we have not had a huge demand for frozen semen. However....due to the fact that Roy is a 2013 stallion, I believe you can freeze his semen and continue to register foals with it indefinitely!
