Meet Samson a 5 year old registered Gypsy Vanner gelding with the kind of mind everyone hopes to find.
Weβve owned Samson since he was a yearling after purchasing him directly from the breeder, so we know his entire history. From day one, heβs been easygoing, willing, and incredibly level-headed.
Samson spent his first few months under saddle in a cow horse program before coming home to become my motherβs trail horse. He has been trail ridden all over and confidently crosses water, brush, ditches, and bridges without hesitation. No matter where you haul him, he stays calm, relaxed, and takes everything in stride.
One of Samsonβs best qualities is his consistency. He rides the same every day, whether heβs been ridden once a week or has had several months off. Saddle him up and go.
In the arena, Samson continues to become more polished every ride. He picks up both leads, has a correct spin, collects nicely in the bridle, backs softly with his head down, and side passes over to open and close gates.
