Legend is a beautiful golden gelding, standing 15.2 hands and weighing approximately 1,300 lbs. He has a thick, beautiful mane and tail and absolutely everything you could ask for when it comes to eye appeal. I recommend jumping straight to his video and seeing for yourself just how amazing this guy truly is!
Legend has had training in Dressage, Reining, Driving, and Roping, and he has been ridden through some of the roughest terrain you could find. He has attended the National Chuckwagon Races in Clinton, Arkansas, traveled to Eminence, Missouri for week-long camping trips, and ridden through the Garden of the Gods in Illinois. There truly isnβt much this amazing gelding canβt do!
Legend is a gentle giant with a heart as big as he is. He neck reins, turns around on his hindquarters, backs, side passes, and works gates like a Quarter Horse.
One of my favorite things to do with Legend is trail ride. He is absolutely wonderful on the trail and confidently handles every obstacle! He is sure-footed and feels extremely safe underneath you, no matter the situation. He has been my go-to horse for hitting the trails all summer. The youth kids loved swimming him this summer. He enjoyed it so much.
Legend also makes mounting simple. He will courteously side pass over to just about anything you want to use as a mounting blockβwhether itβs a picnic table, log, or gate. He will even drop his head to the ground to be haltered and bridled when asked.
Your farrier will LOVE this guy! He picks up all four feet with ease, with no leaning or pulling. You couldnβt ask for better ground manners. He stands like a statue for saddling, bathing, and clipping. He will stand tied on a tie line or quietly stay in a stall.
Legend is always the first to meet you at the gate and gets along great with other horses in the field. He is 100% sound and UTD on all shots and Coggins.
