Comets Nitro Doc, known around the barn as Ricky Bobby, is a 2020 AQHA gray gelding standing 15.1 hands. Built with plenty of substance, shape, and the kind of eye appeal that’s hard to overlook, Ricky Bobby is a stout-made gelding with the ability and experience to be more than just a pretty face. He’s got the look of a horse that can put in an honest day’s work and the versatility to be enjoyed long after the work is done.
Ricky Bobby has spent his time doing a little bit of everything, and it shows in the way he handles himself. He’s been ridden extensively outside, from covering country on the ranch to navigating trails and tackling whatever obstacles are put in front of him. Point him in a direction, and he’s willing to go, whether that means crossing unfamiliar terrain or making his way through a busy day’s work. He’s also no stranger to the stockyards, where he’s been exposed to the activity, cattle, and commotion that come with the job. When it’s time to step into the arena, Ricky Bobby has a good handle, rides around nicely, and is enjoyable to operate. He offers the kind of practical versatility that allows you to spend one day putting him to work and the next simply enjoying a ride.
With his substantial build, attractive appearance, and well-rounded background, Ricky Bobby is a gelding that offers both quality and usefulness. Whether you’re looking for a ranch partner, a dependable mount to explore the trails, or a handsome gelding to enjoy around the arena, he’s got plenty to bring to the table.
