Here is one of the most unique, loving, gentle horses that I have offered. Hidalgo is truly a gentle giant. He craves attention and loves people. He is a beautiful Gypsy Vanner/Friesian cross gelding standing 16hh at the prime age of 10yo. His movement is gorgeous and he carries himself so pretty. He has those classic Gypsy feathers, and a big beautiful tail. You couldn’t ask him to be colored up any prettier, the roaning in his flanks is stunning. He also has a partial blue right eye to add more fancy to him! This guy has truly been a barn favorite and is just so easy! He was just recently ridden by one of the Glen Rose TX Sheriff’s Posse Queens in their downtown Christmas parade! He was all decked out with lights and decor and did so great. He has been ridden on trails, where he crosses, bridges, steep terrain, water, logs, etc. He has been around cattle, dogs, ponies, and donkeys as well. Hidalgo will ride out alone or with friends. He has also been hauled to downtown Weatherford TX where he was ridden there and across the railroad tracks. He is safe and easy. All the videos were made with a 13 year old girl. Stands for the farrier, and to be bathed! His personal favorite is just to be scratched all over, he LOVES that. He is also very food motivated. Just an all around easy sweet guy!
