3 year old AQHA gelding offered for sale in Pendleton, KY. Despite his age, Tex is an old soul type that is suitable for older or youth riders. He is extremely quiet and has a wonderful disposition. He is a true all around type horse and has done a little bit of everything - obstacle courses, trail riding, working cattle, ponying other horses, fox hunts, dressage, and jumping. He would love to be a family trail horse, or would he be an excellent choice for a lower level ammy or youth rider wanting to do eventing on a safe and confident mount. Tex is more of a push ride and likes to take things slow and easy, but is slightly more forward with confident riders and outside the arena. He is soft in the bridle, has a good stop, and knows lateral movements. He is extremely low maintenance and is a very easy keeper. He stands patiently tied, is good for the vet and farrier, and settles in to new places very quickly.

Tex will very rarely crib, but does not destroy or chew fence and his teeth are absolutely fine. His price reflects this habit, even though it not a common occurrence.
