Pickles is a 11 year old Welsh/Cobb Pony Mare standing 13.1 hands tall. Pickles is good with her feet, good to bathe, hauls great, stands tied, easy to catch and stands to be fly sprayed. She is super quiet on the ground and not pushy, and stands like a soldier to be saddled. She is soft to lunge on a lead line, and lunges easily in the roundpen. She would be a great horse to teach someone the basics of groundwork/saddling/grooming.


She's great on the trail walks out like a big horse, she crosses water, goes over bridges and has been around cows. She's not fancy broke but will ride around the arena nicely. She came from an English home prior to us. She is gentle enough for anyone to sit on, but does move out with a purpose and will do what she is asked to do. If you are looking for a beginner horse, she would work as long as there is guidance and supervision until the fundamentals are learned. She is a fun trail and arena horse for anyone with the basics down, and it’s hard for me to think that any pleasure rider wouldn’t like her.

Delivery can be arranged anywhere in the lower 48 for cost of fuel. We will provide all paperwork to get her across state lines.
