This is a hard one. We have had him since birth. At 1.5 he fused one pastern (high ringbone) then sound. He is trained Western Dressage & won Grand Championship aT World Western Dressage at age 6 then started fusing he other hind pastern. During the time off to heal, he was a buddy horse for friends that needed a pasture mate, one was a blind old horse he took care of. Last xrays showed it fused well but sadly will never be what we want him to be. When put under pressure in arena he is slightly off. Vet said light trail riding may be okay on joint supplements. Very food driven may be great clicker horse. He is stunning black Pepto Boonsmal bred no papers. He is a class clown attitude & thrives for attention. We must now cut our losses and move on sadly.
