Neo is a 15.1, 2012, QH Gelding who has been shown competitively in Area 8 for the past 3 years. He has qualified for the AEC’s 3 years in a row, with top 10 placings in his first 6 outings this year. Neo is an absolute cross country machine. He is that perfect combination of a kick ride who is bold and brave and carries you to the fences. If you want the feeling of a horse who actively hunts the fences on cross country, this guy is for you!! He can be a little harder to package in the show jumping, so not for a complete beginner. We think he would excel with an ambitious child or teen looking to learn the ropes of eventing or someone looking to build confidence in the cross country phase. No xc stops in three years of recognized competition. PLENTY of scope and bravery for training level. Working at First Level on the flat with scores in the high 20s and low-30s consistently. Nice enough to do straight dressage. Easy to make round. Goes in a snaffle in all three phases. Neo is an excellent traveler. Self loads on all trailers. He has hauled alone to Kentucky and Aiken, SC, multiple times without issue. He will stand tied to the trailer all day long with his hay bag happy as a clam. Stays fat on air and lives barefoot through the winter. We just recently shod him all the way around for show season as he was in heavy competition. Hacks out happily alone or in company. He tends to be the alpha in a field but settles in once he knows the routine. Super fun guy who will take you out to do all the things! He will be shown until sold and can be seen in the non-team Novice division at Hagyard-Midsouth in Kentucky.
