Mufasa is a 2017 Thoroughbred gelding. He stands 16.3hh and has a thicker build. Mufasa has enough training and foundation on him that he can go in any direction. Has the scope and ability to do any of the upper level divisions once finished. Jumps a 10 every time, have jumped him over flowers, gates, etc. Currently being brought back after some time off due to a growth spurt which created underdeveloped quads and resulted in locking stifles, this issue is now resolved and is in a consistent training program, jumping 2'6" nicely with lead changes. Before he had time off, he was jumping 2'9" at home.
Has a goofball personality in the barn, great for trailering, has a fear of needles, but we have been working on it and is slowly getting better, stands for chiropractor, will stand for farrier, however does need sedation. Stands for bathing, mane pulling, will stand in crossties (if on rubber mat, not concrete) and ties. Hacks correctly and has a great change, lunges well, turns out alone, or with others. Ideal for someone wanting to produce and finish him for what they want. Not beginner friendly. If going to an amateur, amateur must be a confident rider in a program with a trainer as he's still green. Mufasa is a talented horse and could take someone far. Located in Farmington, Utah.
