Tall, dark, & handsome dude! Great mind and huge heart. This gentle giant has a pocket pony personality. He is kind and curious and playful. Temple has a start in natural horsemanship techniques and enjoys playing online with obstacles. With the right partnership he should excel at Liberty work as well. Temple is more of a kick ride at walk and trot, but can still get a little spicy at the canter occasionally. He has a great brain, great ground manners, trailers easily, and is good for the vet and farrier. He is currently in front shoes since we wanted to go out and try him on some trail rides. He has solid feet and could go barefoot in arena footing and for general turn out. He gets along great in our gelding herd. He also loves our miniature horse and mini donkeys. Temple is looking for an adopter who likes to do ground work, light riding, obstacles and trails and liberty. He could excel in any endeavor where his hooves don’t leave the ground (non-jumping home) A home with regular turnout is a must, and he will need regular maintenance (ie: Pentosan and joint support) to keep him comfortable and happy in his work. He is currently located in Canal Winchester, Ohio He is available for adoption through Friends of Ferdinand, Inc, a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance accredited facility. All our horses come with test rides & 30 day trial periods.
