Leroy can be packed off, high line tied and will trailer anywhere. This horse is sound, sane and sweet. He may not be much to look at, but if you want a sane horse for you and /or a friend to ride out whenever you want. He is the best horse He succeeds at long distance trail rides alone or in group. He is not phased by horses on his ass and will not crawl up any horses butt on the trail. Pros: Loves all people, horses and dogs Loves trails ( literally his favorite thing) Gentle Trailers Stands patiently tied Cross ties Rides English or western (I ride western but dabbled in English) Loves kids Good in herd or stall Will ride anywhere in a three piece snaffle Great for farrier Point him in a direction and he will go Can cover ground quick or slow (preferably slow lol) Cons: Never taught to run on a long line. Never had a reason to. Will not let you get a clipper anywhere near his bridle path. have tried everything He is lazy if you don’t ask him to move out. If he sits for a month, I recommend a quick round pen run to get his one kick fart out lol. He is lazy and fits his name to a tee. Will ride good in arena, but he was raised on a dude ranch in Oregon and I don’t ride in the arena much. So I would say he is not a perfect fit for an arena rider only. He gets bored in the arena. It’s just not his jam.
