Smokey has it all! Smokey has turned 5 this year and is the complete package for someone looking for an easy-going, uncomplicated, fun little horse.

Smokey has spent the last year in professional training and has all the buttons that would be appreciated by an experienced rider, such as walk, trot, lope, changes, leg yields, shoulder in, haunches in, a nice stop, and the ability to travel collected in all gaits. He is super soft in the mouth and responsive to the leg and seat. He is also gentle enough to pack around an inexperienced rider and cruise around on a loose rein. Smokey has had multiple riders of varying experience levels and takes care of them with ease.

Smokey has spent the winter being introduced to roping and working cows. He is brave and not afraid to track up on a cow in any setting. He will cut, sort, or move cows anywhere. He drags the dummy and a sled and has been break-away roped off of. He has been hard roping and heading large steers this spring.

Smokey would make a great mount for someone looking for an all-around gelding that can do anything. He will cross water, bridges, ties, loads in the trailer, bathes, is spray bottle broke, and is a general sweetheart with a very in-your-pocket personality.
