Tomyris is a 14-year-old Appendix mare. She has been used mainly for trail riding and bareback pleasure. She prefers to be ridden with a hackamore but is tolerable to a bit as long as you do not pull on her face. She does well for groundwork but tends to spook easily under saddle. Before I owned her, she was trained under Western and English riding styles.
When I bought her, I had her vet checked. She has heaves in the summertime if she eats from a round bale, but is okay if she is on pasture only, she is pigeon-toed on the front limbs, and her teeth look good.
