Aspen is a well-behaved energetic Thoroughbred/Quarterhorse mix. Before I bought him Aspen was used for reigning, barrel racing, roping, and everyday work around the ranch. I purchased him at an auction and after getting him home I found he was roughly 60lbs underweight. We got him a full checkup at the vet and they found ringbone in his front right knee, and arthritis in his front left leg. They prescribed an anti-inflammatory and a sweet feed to get his weight up. 3 months later he was at a healthy weight and I was able to ride as long as he was on the anti-inflammatory. He spins on a dime, backs up, lunges, doesn't spook, and is eager to please. With a smaller rider (I'm 160 for reference) I believe he'd do well. He loves to cuddle and just enjoys company, he is good with little kids and could be a pasture pet to the right home as well. Offering boarding. Contact at 765-337-0100
