3'6" Regional Top 15 with former young rider in 2018. Beautiful 16.2h 2012 Bay AndalusianX gelding! Barn name Damon aka Quixote aka Don Quixote. He goes Western or English, his whopping 84" girth circumference will take up leg. He's not bulky or drafty nor is he thin & leggy. Smooth trot, rocking horse canter! Much more go than whoa, will go all day and then some. He's moved cows in the badlands, play days, ridden in the Rocky Mountains. This boy has the perfect build for a bigger, taller rider who is not a toothpick! You know, those people who don't fit a TB, this guy is for them. He can live out 24/7 or stalled. Had professional dressage training early 2021. He had us in the ribbons at his first Starter Event & schooled BN with tons of scope to go up the levels! He did H/J and BN with his elusive former owner who raised him. She finished top 15 in Regionals at 3'6" in 2018. He is NOT a stopper. He's a smooth jumping machine, nice easy to ride gaits. He bridles himself, knows side pass, leg yield, shoulder-in & in-hand he knows haunches-in. He goes barefoot, boots or shoes, great for the farrier, self loads into the trailer and travels well. His online skills and liberty are advanced and he has a lot of draw! Extroverts are good at "draw" for liberty! Started slowly & safely. ZERO maintenance, no injections EVER, he's sound & healthy, no weaving, cribbing, or pacing, no vices. He's an in your pocket type & very polite. His ground manners are impeccable, anyone can handle him on the ground! But he's big & not for a beginner "rider" without a trainer. A rider with an educated seat & hand is appreciated by him. He's in western North Dakota. We are not dealers, he's not on consignment, he is our personal horse! Thank you for looking! Call or text 701-770-6605.
