6YO 36in Gelding Howard City (The child riding him is a 4ft tall beginner) Didn't plan to post him quite yet but maybe someone is looking for him right now. 🤷🏽♀️ Training will continue. He knows about riding and seems he may be broke to drive. I have not hooked him to the cart yet. He ground drives and is traffic safe when the traffic passes quickly. He is more solid with blinders on, I suspect he was started by the Amish. He didn't care for a car following us slowly without his blinders but we worked through it easily. He has great ground manners, my kiddo can go in and catch him and ties really well. I leave a halter on him in the big pasture but he has never ran from me. He is easy to catch and halter in the small pasture. He has been ponied and did well with that. He flinches at hands coming towards him fast but doesn't blow up, I suspect he was smacked around a bit. He is getting better with that every day and wants to know what we want from him. Very good for vet and farrier. Loads on a trailer. Not a pasture tyrant. No founder. GREAT feet. RESPECTS FENCE hot or not. He is still within 30days after being gelded and was very quiet even as a stallion. I suspect he will quiet down even more. Very willing dude and I won't be disappointed if he stayed a bit longer as he's fun to work with.
