Remy, was bred in Up state New York from a family operated breeding farm. Sire is a Irish draught eventing horse and Dam is an Irish bred Thoroughbred dressage mare. She comes from a long line of strong Irish jumper and eventing lines. Both parents where imported from Ireland. Remy, is standing at 16.2 hands, she is 6 years old (will be 7 in March), she is a beautiful gray roan mare, she has been started in jumpers and has schooled and coursed at 3"0-3'6 comfortably. She is a fantastic cross country horse with drive to make it into upper levels. She is currently showing and coursing at 3'6 on the cross country course. She has been started in dressage but will need further training. She is forward but comfortable and collected. She is responsive to commands and moves off your leg nicely. She is very easy to train, easy to ride, catch or keep. Very smart mare and brave over fences. She has a lot of scope to course in upper level eventing or jumpers. She is not spooky, has no bad habits or vices. She stands, ties, cross ties, baths, lunges, hauls, loads, picks up all for feet, clips and is UTD on everything. Teeth floated in December 2023, vaccinations were done in February 2024 and dewormed in January 2024. Coggins and a health certificate are good until April. She is such a fun horse, very friendly and loves attention. She is easy to handle on the ground and under saddle. Wel bred mare that has unlimited potential on the show ring. She does get along with other horses in the barn, turn out and in the arena. Her lead changes are smooth and flying lead changes are being worked on. Yielding is flawless and same with bending, backing up and jumping at angles. She is not a speed horse in jumpers, she had speed but prefers to stay paced and not rushed over fences. She has a beautiful stride on the cross country course. Selling due to attending nursing school and I won't have enough money or time to train or show her anymore. Her tack can be included for extra charge. PPE is welcome as buyers expense.
