Lucy is a chestnut molly out of a registered Missouri Fox Trotter mare. She gaited at her mother’s side at just a few hours old so she should make a fantastic gaited mount someday. (I do have a gaiting video upon request.) Her father, Lake Nowhere Judah out of West Elk Equine, is also a gaited jack. Lucy ties, cross ties, picks up her feet for the farrier, is good for shots/worming, can have her ears touched and bent any direction, leads, loads, and is all around a nice and very smart little mule. She’s been around chickens flapping under her feet, dogs, tractors, and traffic. She is very friendly and curious. She has been handled almost daily since birth. Her dam is 14.3 and her sire is 15.2, so I assume she will top out around 15h, but she is my first mule and I am not sure how they mature compared to horses.
