Meet Paladin. Or as my friends call him, 1mpg lol. He lived with cows n is out on pasture with our herd of mares. Would be a great buddy emotional support pony on the road or out in pasture for your Equine pals or a great project for a punchy kid. A 9yr old pony that is a total sweetheart with personality. I bought him to be a buddy to my mare while we lived out at my great grandpas place to accompany her. He is food driven. LOVES whole apples or cookies. I was told he was rescued from a kill lot in Denver n they broke him to ride for their grand kids etc. he is not a fan of men but that could possibly change if you’re what he needs. He respects the halter n line. He picks up all four feet but is a little watchy with his rear right foot but my dad got him trimmed. I’ll have my dad trim him before he goes. He loads and backs out of slants with ease n hauls great. He is Hotwire broke n is use to cows n a bottle calf up his butt. He doesnt mind haha. Total sweetheart. He needs a confident someone. Didn’t take long for him to gain my trust. I can turn him out on pasture n he will walk right up to me to halter. If he doesn’t trust ya he can be a stinker. I do recommend workin with him before turning him out. He’s a cool dude. He would make a great project for someone lookin for one. I haven’t put anyone on him so I don’t recommend a kid who is new to horses etc. Experienced has fallen off n laughed bout it n got back on without hesitation. 😉 Paladin is a ham, he’d make one fine pony for a kiddo who is fearless.
