Are you looking for the perfect horse? One who responds to every cue and does everything perfectly? Do you value your life? Then this is not the horse for you! Amigo is the horse of choice for your bravest (or possibly your least favorite) riders to test their mettle. He has dreams of becoming a mighty dragon and he isn't going to let a little thing like gravity stop him! He is athletic and has schooled up to 3’3” and shown up to 0.85m. He can perform lateral movements for low level dressage like a champion. He earned champion at his first ever horse show a few years back. He can do lead changes with fair consistency (though will likely need a refresher). All of this was before he developed cataracts in his right eye that gave him the remarkable ability to see ghosts and speak with demons. We have done a lot of ground work to build his confidence and even started jumping small jumps again. Unfortunately with my growing lesson program (that he was fired from, even before his new necromancy skills) I don't have the time to devote to him that will keep the voices in his head quiet. Pros: Insanely sweet on the ground. Hauls like a dream (I have often worried he secretly escaped before leaving) Keeps you focused! (If you aren't paying attention he'll fight a demon and scoot sideways) Will make you stick to your fitness goals! (If he isn't worked six days a week he will try to buck you off for no reason) Loves to work! (The more you make him think about where his feet are, the less likely he is to think about bucking you off) Great at lateral work! Easy keeper! Loyal to a fault! (No seriously, he wants one rider and one rider only, others need to gtfo). “Fun-size” at only 15.1hh! Generally gets along with other horses. Cons: Will buck for no reason (occurrences lessen dramatically when he's in full work) Partially blind in right eye (who doesn't love a pirate, though?) Will make you question your religion. And sanity. Weaves. Everywhere. Paddock, stall, doesn't matter. He is BORED AF. I suspect the weaving will decrease if he's in full work. I REQUIRE REFERENCES. A horse like Amigo will need a very experienced home. I will need references from both a trainer and a veterinarian before I will sell him. If I can't find an absolutely perfect place for him then I'll keep him where I know he's safe.
