Sierra is a sound older mare that has been used mostly for trail riding and some lessons when she was younger. She has been mostly retired for the last several years, ridden last summer by a 9 year old around the farm. She doesn’t seem to have arthritis as she willingly gallops around the pasture with her younger pasture mate. She has been a little stubborn lately when we ride her and therefore needs an assertive rider. She is a dominant mare, but has always been a good leader with my other horses..mares or geldings…..until I got ponies. She is showing some aggression towards them which is why I need to find her another home.
