A cool 15-hand red roan gelding with a black type pedigree who just may be the most extraordinary βcowponyβ in the west- he seriously makes us smile every time we ride him. He is happy and such. quick learner!! He is exceptionally good-minded and highly talented in so many areas. We have shown Hustler in Ranch Versatility events and excels in the cutting pen on cattle! He goes into the show pen and knows his job! Pick your cow, put your hand down, and have fun. He is very cow-smart and gritty enough to read and hold a tough cow in the herd. He lopes balanced circles on a draped rein, and my-oh-my, he is so smooth. Hustler has been all over the country in many types of terrain. Heβs very sure-footed and confident out in the rocks, mountains, and thick brush, crossing desert arroyos. He will lead the string or is fine in the back of the trail ride. He has also been used to halter break yearling colts. He is good around a pack of dogs, machinery, and loud gunfire. He is also well started in roping on the Heel-o-Matic. The type of horse, the ranch foreman, would be smiling ear to ear to ride every day. Hustler is a cow-cutting machine, deluxe trail partner, all-around ranch horse, and best friend kind of gelding.
