Polite on the ground for lunging, mounting, dismounting, and tying. Monkey is the typical in your pocket gelding. He loves all the attention and wants to be with you any chance he can get. Solid walk, trot, canter, and rein back. Barefoot with strong feet. No health or soundness issues. UTD on vaccines and teeth. No dangerous behavior.
Monkey is not your typical Saddlebred. He is slow and steady but does have the capability to be forward. He was originally trained and shown in saddleseat but his recent training has been for all around performance. Monkey has a strong desire to please and he will do anything you ask of him willingly. He has the potential to go in any direction.
Monkey has show miles and trail miles. He is most confident in the arena but enjoys going out on the trail. He is not hot and prefers a calm walk. He would do great in any program. He adapts well to the level of rider that’s on him.
