Vic is a very handsome, 19 year old, sound, bay gelding. He has been ridden in indoor/outdoor arenas and out on the trails. He does well on the ground, loves grooming, stands exceptionally well for the trimmer, quiet when standing tied, and does well trailering. He has been ridden both English and Western. I have found he truly enjoys jumping and has previously jumped up to 3.
He does try to get pushy if he is in a mixed herd, trying to claim the mares but if the gelding pushed back, Vic doesn't press the issue.
He continues to have natural horsemanship training daily.
Currently ridden barefoot and in a halter/mecate set up in the plains and mountains of Wyoming. He has been ponied in a train of two horses. He doesn't like cattle. Has shown exceptional calm when coming across wildlife on the trail and became the lead of the ride when other horses refused to proceed.
