Colter is a 4-year-old AQHA buckskin gelding. I'm only selling him because I need to get a horse my kids can ride too, and he is too young. He has had a year of training including a lot of trail miles, and he is really fun to ride. His gaits are smooth, and he's very athletic. He was bred to be a roping horse and has cow sense. I took him to a sorting event and he did well. He's just under 15h, but I'm 5'7 and 145# and he is a perfect fit for me. He's an easy keeper, barefoot, lunges, ties, trailers, goes through water, and loves to jump logs. He is not for someone who does not have experience with young horses. He learns quickly for better or worse. I've spent the last year making sure he learns good habits, and he has been a dream to train. I started him on trails, but we've also hauled to arenas and done indoor/outdoor arena work. He is up-to-date on vaccines and had his teeth done about 6 months ago. He has a puppy dog personality and loves to be with people and other horses.
