Red is a beautiful Kiger mustang bred in captivity in Eastern Wa. I got him in 2018 as a 7 year old and started him myself. At that time he had 3 months of consistent riding/training and then off and on trail riding ever since. He has been to the beach a few times as well. He has good ground manners, trailers well, handles his feet well and likes people. In my opinion he is still considered green broke, not a beginner horse but overall he’s very easy going and can sit for months and pick back up where you left off. Walk, trot, canter no problem, side passes but not neck rein. He can be a bit nervous at times, but nothing a confident rider couldn’t handle. He is amazing on the trails, goes by himself or with other riders. He is healthy and an easy keeper but over the years living in western Wa he has developed some summer allergies. He rubs his tail, mane, and belly if not covered by a fly sheet. That being said, he may do better living in eastern Wa or being fed eastern Wa hay. I have lots of pictures, he’s a beautiful horse. Hoping he finds the right person in the right environment who can use him more often. Thanks for reading.
